I love receiving something unusual and, even better, something purchased with me in mind! If its something to do with my lovely Hungarian Vizsla, I am ecstatic. Just don’t even think of getting me a toaster! Hand etched glass – be that a wine glass, stemless wine glass, whisky glass, water glass, beer glass or a vase. These can be etched with the design of your choice, perhaps a name and date for a special birthday or wedding, or for retirement gift. Hand etched or gilded natural slate – again any design but being a natural layered material extra fine designs don’t show up to their best advantage. The plus side being they can be left outside impervious to the vagaries of the weather. Plaques can be hung on the wall or fence or even the shed! Coasters can be left on the garden furniture ready for your next glass of wine or cup of tea. Framed Crepe Paper Flowers or Papercuts - a beautiful addition to home decor.
